We began as a mobile company with Kennedy in 2022, and officially opened the brick-and-mortar shop in March 2023. From there, Rock Pupper Scissors has gained another groomer, Amanda, and a groomer's assistant, Bri.

Hi there! I’ve been professionally grooming since July 2018, and in 2022, I took a leap of faith and opened my very own grooming shop. With 7 years of hands-on experience and a lifelong deep love for animals that started on my family farm as a child, I’ve created a space where dogs can feel safe.
I believe grooming isn’t just about looking good—it’s about keeping your pet healthy, happy, and feeling their best. From nervous first-timers to senior sweethearts, I take the time to get to know your dog’s unique personality and needs.
Bri Kirkman
Groomer's Assistant
Affectionately known as the "Shop Gremlin," Bri is the fill-in for all things that don't involve scissors and haircuts. She's our bath queen, answers the phones, gives emotional support hugs to nervous and wiggly pups, and even built the website you're on right now!
With her background in dog training and behavior, she’s a pro at keeping everyone calm, cool, and collected—whether it's a nervous dog or a stressed-out groomer.
